Miss Sylvia Lam graduated from the Master of Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Sydney in 2000. She provides nutritional assessment and medical nutrition therapy to her clients. Her specialized area includes diabetes, weight management and diet management in other metabolic syndromes including high cholesterol, hypertension and more.
Currently, she is a senior registered dietitian working in a Qualigenics Diabetes Centre.
Miss Lam is also an honorary lecturer of nutrition courses for a few recognized institutions including the University of Hong Kong SPACE program, Chinese University of Hong Kong, Federation of Medical Society of Hong Kong and Nursing Association etc. Since 2007, she became the Chairman of the Hong Kong Dietitians Association. She has also published a few nutrition recipes books recently which focus on diabetes diet management, cholesterol lowering diet strategies, pregnancy nutrition, and 0-2 year-old happy and healthy infant recipes etc.
